EARLY CHRISTMAS FOR KNUN OFFICIALS AND NURSES

The Kenya national union of nurses this morning moved to Court under certificate of urgency and obtained interim orders restraining MR. JEREMIAH MAINAH and NNAK from interfering with the activities of the union. The orders given are:-

1) THAT the application is certified as urgent.
2) THAT the first Respondent (NNAK) represented by Mr. Mainah is restrained either through its officials, officers, servants and/or agents from making public pronouncements/statements on matters of employment and Labour Relations in nature in respect of nurses and the Claimant pending hearing and determination of this Claim.

3) THAT Mr. Jeremiah Mainah be restrained from usurping the roles of an official/officer of a Trade Union by making Public pronouncements and statement on matters of employment and Labour Relations and engaging Government officials on the same in respect of the Claimant and its members pending hearing and determination of this Claim.

4) Case to be heard in January 2015.
