Kisumu Governor ordered to promote Healthworkers in the County.

In a ruling delivered by Justice Nduma Nderi, the County Government was directed to effect Promotions of workers by June 30th and also ensure that their arrears dating back to July 2019 was paid by July 30th 2020.

However, the Court ordered the healthworkers to resume duties by Friday, it failed to declare the strike illegal. Led by KNUN Deputy General Secretary Bro. Maurice Opetu, the healthworkers vowed to resume their Strike after July 31st July 2020 should the County Government fail to honour the Court’s decree.
