Ealing today the Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN)called off a planned Strike in Homabay County following a successful reconciliation meeting between the Union and the County Government of Homabay .The meeting was held at Kisumu County labour office where the two parties signed a Return To Work Formula (RTWF) mediated by Mr Leonard Bii .
The Following Union officials where present in the conciliation meeting; Mr.Seth Panyako-The General Secretary of Kenya National Union of Nurses, Maurice Opetu-The deputy General Secretary, George Shiveka-The deputy national treasurer, Charles Alsoreng- The assistant national trustee, George Opiyo-The Branch Secretary for Homabay County, Joash Bosire – The Deputy Secretary Homabay County, Magara Isaac-The branch treasurer Homabay County, John Karakacha- Union’s Industrial Relations Officer.
Also in attendance was Homabay County chief officer for health Jenipher Ndege, Human resource officer Alfred Chuchu ,county director of human resource Mr Charles Ouma.
