The Kenya National Union of Nurses signed the first ever Collective Bargaining Agreement with the KNH Hospital Management at the CEO’s boardroom.
The CBA is good news for the Nurses as it has enhanced Nurses Uniform Allowance and the Health Risk Allowance. The document has also other terms and conditions of service improved and now it awaits registration at the Employment and Labour Relations Court.
It is important to note that the document will officially form the official engagement structure for the benefit of our members. It will be subsequently reviewed to ensure that our members get the best of the benefits that come with a CBA agreement.
The Union team was led by the General Secretary Hon. Seth Kuka Panyako who was together with the National Chairman Joseph Ngwasi, National Treasurer Maureen Nzioka, National Assistant Trustee Charles Alsoreg, Branch Officials as well as the Industrial Relations Officers.
The KNH team was led my the CEO Board Dr. Evanson Kamuri, Director Human Resource Madam Winnie Mwangi, Director Legal Services Mr Nyachoti, Director Nursing Services Mrs Mukhwana R. Among other management officials.
