Following a successful meeting in Busia County on Tuesday 29th evening the G.S. spent quality time with the Governor Mr.Sospeter Ojaamong, C.E.C Health Mr. Maurice Siminyu, and other ministers from Busia County Government.
They discussed issues affecting healthcare delivery, where the County Officials acknowledged that they inherited some of the problems from the National Government and promised to work to ensure all issues are sorted. All health workers are working in a conducive environment.
And on 30th September, the G.S. accompanied by healthworkers officials met the C.E.C as reported earlier. The good news is that all health workers’ salaries will be released by Friday this week.
In Tranzoia County all health workers who had not received their salaries had their salaries released on Tuesday according to Tranzoia County Government, All health workers are to check their bank accounts between today and tomorrow, and in case anyone will not receive the salary by then kindly liaise with the Union Branch Officials for directions.
