The General Secretary Mr. Seth Panyako,Deputy National Organising Secretary Mr. Damon Kwaraa,Kilifi Branch Secretary Evans Nyabwaga and Branch Treasurer Mr. Japhet Mwavita today attended a fundraising in Kilifi County(Mariakani Hospital). A�
The fundraising was in Aid of Medical assistance for Ms. Lydiah Simiyu who is scheduled to travel to India for further treatment.
The General Secretary Mr. Seth Panyako was the Guest of Honour who also helped in raising the money.
The family managed to raise Kshs. 107,000,the Union raised Kshs. 100,000,G.S and Mr. Mayaka gave Kshs.15,000 . In total we managed to raise Kshs.616,020. A�
The General Secretary informed the gathering that NEC made a resolution that 2% of union’s income has been set aside to cater for benevolent funds,Medical assistance and other issues affecting nurses.
