MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE FOLLOWING THE SUDDEN DEMISE OF DR. ALLAN MAKOKHA-MEDICAL OFFICER KWALE COUNTY AND REFERRAL HOSPITAL AND CHAIRPERSON OF KMPDU COAST REGION.

Kenya National Union of Nurses wishes to convey their heartfelt condolences following the recent passing of Dr. Allan Makokha of Kwale County and Referral Hospital which occured on 27th October 2017 after a shot illness. Dr. Makokha will be remembered as a great medical surgeon and a vocalist in matters of health.

The late Dr. Makokha was very instrumental and supportive during the struggle to have the registration of our union in 2012-2013. His unrivalled skills in advocacy on behalf of trade unionists was not only competitive but carried with it immense influences off his field of work. At the time of this cruel and unfortunate death, the late Dr. Makokha was the chairman KMPDU Coast Region.

As a union, we share in grief with the family of the late Dr. Makokha, KMDPDU and his colleagues who we pray that their hearts be filled with good memoris during past times together with the late gallant Doctor to enable them forget this painful departure of a loved one.

We celebrate with you the the well lived life, a well fought war but the Glory of the Almighty God prevailed. We have no doubts the memories of the late Doctor will remain cemented in your hearst just as they do in ours.

We beseech God to give the family, friends and relatives and in deed all the partners in this grief solid strength and wisdom to manage it to the end.
