COMMUNIQUE FROM THE GENERAL SECRETARY

The General Secretary wish to inform all members and officials as follows:-

(a) The Scheme of Service has been sent to all Branch Secretaries for sensitizing the members.
(b) The concluded Collective Bargaining Agreement has been sent to all Branch Secretaries. The purpose is for them to advice the National Office on the direction to push the government to sign it i.e
(i) Court or
(ii) Industrial Action.

(c) ESP

(i) The branch officials are working hard to ensure that those whose contract have expired are absorbed immediately.
(ii) For salary for June,the Branch officials are also working round the clock to ensure that it is paid.
(iii) Bungoma County have confirmed that the letters of confirmation are on the way
(iv) Elgeyo Marakwet A�all Esps have been absorbed.
(v) Kiambu County has confirmed that they are paying full salary and confirming the Esps.

-The National Office is working with county branch officials round the clock to ensure information needed by the County Officers is provided, In this regard we have dispatched letters and a list of all Esps from the Cabinet Secretary Mr. Macharia to all counties for Action.
