The KNUN Bungoma branch has noted that the newly employed nurses and other healthcare workers had their extraneous allowances struck from their March payslip.
On a follow up of the same, the county human resource has reassured the union and all Nurses affected that the omission was erroneous and regrettable.
The amount will be paid in arrears in the coming month.
For those affected; the union at the branch has written a covering letter annexed with extraneous allowances circular to the Chief Officer, Human resource and County Secretary addressing the matter in question, discrepancy in salaries/allowances, personal numbers and salary delays…and they responded positively to address the issues once and for all…
Confirmation, re-designation and promotion are currently being addressed…
This time round, salaries have been paid on time and by today 2nd April 2015, FOSA, Equity, Cooperative and KCB have paid healthcare workers their salaries for the month of March 2015.
