GLOBAL NURSES SOLIDARITY ASSEMBLY HELD ON 12TH – 15TH SEPTEMBER 2019 IN SAN FRANSISCO, CALIFORNIA- USA

Nurses gathered from around the World for Global Nurses Solidarity Assembly. The Assembly brought together Nurses, Midwives, Labor Union Leaders and activists from across the globe, including representatives from 24 countries and other continents. Bro Seth Panyako represented Kenya National Union of Nurses as the only Union in Kenya affiliated to Global Nurses United.

While nurses and midwives may be from opposite sides of the globe, they share a common mission and are all bound by the same fundamental convictions: to heal the sick and injured, and fiercely advocate for the well-being of the patients, communities, and our planet.

The event was organized by the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC) an affiliate of National Nurses United (NNU), the largest union and professional organization of registered nurses in the United States.
